About Me
Hello! Thanks for checking in. My name is Alison Breier - or Miss Ali as the kids like to call me! I am a nationally certified speech-language pathologist (through ASHA - the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence and am currently licensed in Arizona and Massachusetts.

I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2003. Following graduation, I moved to Orange County, CA where I fell in love with Speech-Language Pathology while working in a preschool. Subsequently, I obtained my Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University.

I started my professional career in San Diego before moving back home to Arizona. I spent the next seven years working as a school based therapist, where I quickly found my passion for phonological therapy. For six years, I co-ran a district wide phonological therapy program and also spent time working with children in the developmental preschool classrooms.

When my youngest son was born in 2015 with a congenital heart defect, I realized I needed more flexibility to balance my professional life and my mama life. Thus, I left the schools and opened up my own private practice. Being a mom to two young boys has made me an even better therapist. I get it - I understand! No judgment here! I love working as a team with families. I love giving parents tools to continue home practice. I love empowering children. I love giving the gift of communication. Together, we've got this!
